The interior was great but omg the rust underneath and the noise coming from the engine... too bad as I think I could’ve talked them down enough but not enough for all the rust and a new engine.
Maybe someone else will rescue it.

I used to have one.
It was fun for about a month and then I just started disliking it more and more.

That’s a terrible dealer decal.. it even matches the ad banner.

I wanted it to be good! Toss a down pipe with exhaust and get protuned... so easy but nope, would’ve killed that engine so fast though.

Yeah mine is starting to rust in the wheel wells but its still a really fun car, just can’t hold up to NJ winters. What was up with the engine?

I went and looked at an ‘07 spec.B Sunday. Steering wheel shook violently when braking. Hopefully just warped rotors. Waiting to hear back from the dealer. If they fix it I’ll probably be getting it.
It’s too bad they didn’t come in wagon, because I like the 4th gen Legacy wagon more than the sedan, not the sedan is ugly.

There was a very noticeable knock. I was going to write it off as a cold engine but we had it running for about 10mins while talking Subaru’s and it never got better

That’s a lot of money for a rusty car that needs an engine

My buddy had one of these. Had it six months and threw a rod. The seats were nice but generally these are ugly pieces of scrap.

They’re tin cans. Subaru used really thin cheap metal.
We fixed the rear wheel openings on a Legacy sedan and you could barely weld to the existing metal it. It was super super thin.

Yeah I just wasn’t much of a fan. The interior felt really cheap and rattled. Even with a new intake, 3 inch exhaust all the way back, chassis bracing, and brembos. It just wasn’t very fun to drive quickly at all.
